For example, the ammonia synthesis process in chemical fertilizer production requires hydrogen and nitrogen to react at a pressure of 15-100MPa, urea production requires chemical reaction of carbon dioxide and ammonia at 21MPa, while the process of ethylene polymerization to produce plastics requires a working pressure as high as 280MPa, and petroleum hydrogenation refining requires a pressure of 7-32MPa.

④. Gas transportation There are pipeline transportation and bottled transportation methods for gas transportation. When the gas volume is large, the pipeline transportation is used. At this time, the purpose of compressed air is to increase the pressure of the gas to overcome the pipeline resistance in the flow process, and make the smaller The pipe diameter transports as much gas as possible. The pressure of transporting gas is 3-30bar, and the pipeline of transporting natural gas needs a pressure of 10-100bar.
Compressor for gas bottling, depending on the nature of the gas. Generally, the pressure of oxygen cylinder is 150bar, the nature of acetylene gas is unstable, the bottling pressure is 25bar, and it is adsorbed by acetone. Some gases with high critical temperature that are easy to liquefy can be compressed first, cooled and then liquefied and bottled, such as chlorine bottling pressure of 10-15bar and carbon dioxide bottling pressure of 50-60bar. At present, the widely used bottling pressure of liquefied petroleum gas is 5-15bar, the filling pressure of hydrogen cylinders on vehicles of fuel trams is 350-700bar, and the transportation pressure of gas transfer tankers of natural gas vehicle filling sub-stations is 200bar.
